Your role:

Due to huge investment and continued growth, we’re expanding our EMEA professional services team. We hire based on skills and experience and are open to consider candidates at various levels.
Our professional services delivery team are the post-sales implementers of Tableau solutions, and are highly customer-facing.
Tableau Architects enable our customers success through technical strategy and implementation, from start to finish. You’ll be an advisor and implementer of Tableau products, a technical strategist focussed on guiding customers through their data transformation being the steward of Tableau best practices. You will possess considerable skills and abilities as a consultant/architect with demonstrated proficiencies in these key areas with a strong track record of providing end-to-end system architecture solutions and customer engagement management. You’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise, partnering with our customers on design, developing implementation strategies and architectural solutions to drive adoption and promote the use of Tableau best practices.
Who you are…

  • Experienced . Relevant experience in Consulting and customer facing roles.

  • Highly Technical . You have strong technical skills in server architecture, databases, warehouses, BI, analytics and visualisation platforms, and ideally cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud). It’d be a bonus if you have any knowledge of coding, networking, infrastructure. Any previous Tableau exposure, either Desktop or Server would be an added advantage.

  • Strong Communicator . You love the idea of sharing the Tableau story verbally and visually.

  • Team Player . You’re the best at what you do and you know how to work with your colleagues to get their best.

  • Problem Solver . You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution. You partner with customers to drive business change and implement end to end solutions as a trusted technical advisor.

  • Excellent Communication . You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. It is essential that you are fluent in the local language of the region you are applying to.

What you’ll achieve in your first year:

  • Complete Tableau’s world-class, two-week boot-camp program

  • Follow a 90-day ramp program

  • Pass your Tableau Qualified Associate qualification (Server or Desktop, depending on role)

  • Shadow a ramped consultant on customer engagements

  • Lead delivery of customer engagements, with a qualified colleague for support

  • Go solo on your first unsupported engagement!

  • Partner with our Services and License sellers on positioning Services and scoping engagements

  • Influence product direction by feeding back customer requirements from the field to our product management and engineering teams

  • Work with our Customer Success team to help customers achieve amazing things with our software

  • Be a valued part of our incredible Tableau community through forums, blogs and social media.

  • Recruit and mentor the next generation of Tableau rock-stars
