Talent Management Consultant
We’re looking for a highly consultative Talent Management (TM) Consultant to drive key talent initiatives in partnership with Employee Success (ES) Business Partners (HRBPs) and specific Business Stakeholders. You will act as a trusted and collaborative thought partner across ES on how to deploy, embed and gain business value from our global TM practices. This role sits in our Talent Management COE and will work closely with our ES Business Partners, Organizational Development and across Talent Experience to implement and influence a progressive talent management strategy in the business while driving program strategy.
Apply talent management expertise to the development, design , and implementation of new talent management programs and processes in a high scale organization
Co-lead consulting engagements with ESBPs and the business around effectively identifying, promoting, managing, and developing key talent
Facilitate talent reviews with ESBPs for senior executives in your client group
Work to strengthen and broaden succession plans for the company’s most critical roles
Identify opportunities to inform and improve new and existing TM solutions to increase the simplicity, transparency and impact of TM at Salesforce.
Work with the broader talent experience team to surface insights that drive more targeted development programs and direct team engagements
Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners across the ES team and with key stakeholders / executives
Partner with ES Business Partners to execute talent management programs; gather feedback and data to change the process and make enhancements as needed
Identify & understand organizational capability gaps and make trusted recommendations
Serve as a Talent Management subject matter expert; support leadership in the area of strategy alignment and deployment, needs assessments, retention, development, and succession pipeline for your client group
A transformational thought partner with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing guidance to a growing organization in a complex industry
Confident and humble and have used these skills to effectively learn from and influence senior stakeholders and executives
10+ years Talent Management and OD Effectiveness experience at a large, fast-paced, complex, global company with a demonstrated history of success in navigating change and influencing others
Ability to contract with multiple business clients to identify and prioritize work
Ability to analyze data from TM processes to identify weaknesses within a talent portfolio
Change management expertise at the employee, team and organizational level
Partnered effectively with senior leaders/HRBPs across multiple functions
Practical experience providing formal/informal executive coaching and development in all areas of leadership
Utilization of Workday Talent Management tools and practices to help business achieve TM objectives
Understanding of core competencies and changing demands within an executive pipeline
