Sr. Manager, People Leadership Development
Salesforce’s People Leadership Development (PLD) group designs and delivers development programs, leads the global coaching philosophy and related services, deploys a range of resources to equip teams for high performance, and builds communities of practice for Salesforce executives to connect and grow.
The PLD Sr. Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the successful design and delivery of development experiences for leaders at every level, including the Leading for Inclusion program - a global leadership development experience that drives inclusive leadership behaviors and practices. A trusted advisor to the business, the PLD Sr. Manager draws on deep program design/facilitation experience, strong business acumen, and substantive subject-matter expertise on Diversity & Inclusion to develop innovative learning and development programs that produce measurable impact and support the talent pipeline of a fast-paced, high-growth company.
Remote (based in the AMER time zone)
Travel ~25% (when travel restrictions are lifted)
Serves as one of PLD’s subject matter experts regarding Diversity & Inclusion in leadership and organizational culture change
Provides the day-to-day management of PLD’s Leading for Inclusion program, including overall responsibility for design, delivery, evaluation, and on-going relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and partners
Facilitates development sessions, interactive meetings, and a variety of PLD milestone programs via multiple modalities to diverse audiences.
Consults with business executives to understand and address their development needs, identifies appropriate sponsorship for programs and initiatives, and ensures alignment with business partners
Provides both strategic and operational support for the design and delivery of a variety of cutting edge development, teaming, and coaching programs, including budget, vendor, and stakeholder management
Develops specific evaluation and assessment tools to measure impact, including: business results, ROI, enhanced talent pipeline, and improved behaviors clearly demonstrated
Drives continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives
Develops and maintains learning assets, curriculum, and a variety of executive development best practices that align with organizational goals and values
Acts as mentor and coach to colleagues and emerging facilitators, coaches, and development practitioners across the business
Manages multi-stakeholder special projects as needed, including developing project teams, managing priorities, and delivering results
Experience & Skills
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) subject matter expertise required
Applicable facilitation and coaching certification(s) strongly desired
Master's degree or graduate certificate in Business Administration, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), or equivalent experience
For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $122,000. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
~8 years of progressive Leadership/OD/OE experience within large organizations
Expert facilitator capable of consistently and effectively influencing senior leaders
Deep knowledge of leadership and organization development, change theories, learning models and best practices, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment - and a natural curiosity for leveraging leading edge practices
Extensive experience delivering leadership development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch face-to-face and live-online using a variety of technologies
Ability to establish strong presence with leaders at all levels
Track record of driving positive organizational change in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
