In the role of Sr Manager/Manager, Security & Compliance Customer Success you will be responsible for working on various customer-facing activities ensuring customer understanding and accepting of our security controls and processes. You may also manage others to support similar activities. You will be working with customers from regulated industries particularly from the financial services industry to address their security and compliance related inquiries.
Host and manage complex customer security reviews from Salesforce customers and prospect customers in the AMER region.
Present security and compliance related topics to customers at the Salesforce Innovation Center (SIC) as well as via conference calls
Assist Legal organization to negotiate security and compliance language for Master Services Agreements.
Provide direction to Sales on customer security questionnaires
Publish and maintain customer facing security and compliance documents and white papers
Provide inputs to the product management and engineering organizations with customer generated requests
Provide security and compliance education and training to various internal organizations (CSG, SE, etc.)
Drive process improvement via leveraging the SFDC platform
Work independently as well as part of a team
**U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship. You agree to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government or other clearances as deemed appropriate for the role.
BS Degree in Computer Science or a technology related field
4+ years’ experience within a Global On-demand environment with a focus on security and compliance
4+ years of customer facing presentations to ‘C’ level executives as well as technical experts
Knowledge of various compliance audits and security certifications (FedRamp (IL Moderate & High) , FISMA, IRS 1075, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP800-171, DFARS, DoD Impact Level 2/4, Canada Protected B, SOC2, ISO27001, SSAE18, PCI-DSS, etc.) highly desired
Working knowledge of various privacy regulations including but not limited to: GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA, etc. (highly desired)
Willingness and ability to travel to domestic and international locations
Good organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels and functions
Comprehensive knowledge of current risks, security frameworks, and trends.
AI background a plus
Recommended: knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (including DFARS 252.204-7012),Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and other regulatory compliance issues for Federal, State and Local government business
