What you’ll be doing…
At Tableau, our Product Marketers create inspirational stories and deliver cutting edge product demos to people around the world. We develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates trials, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers. Our biggest marketing lever is to now take advantage of being a part of Salesforce, bringing together world-class sales teams and marketers eager to help our customers with digital transformation. As a Sr. Manager on the Tableau Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for bringing Tableau to life in the context of the Salesforce Customer 360.

  • Develop messaging and positioning for Tableau that is specific to each Salesforce product; collaborate with respective PMM teams to build assets and campaigns that achieve joint KPIs

  • Collaborate with Tableau’s integrated marketing and creative teams to deliver strategic communications, videos, web content, and other sales tools about Tableau solutions

  • Develop plays and enablement materials to educate sales and internal teams at both Salesforce and Tableau on the value proposition of Tableau for the C360

  • Work closely with our Customer Evidence team to identify, enable, and champion Tableau customers and evangelists

  • Drive the production of strategic solution-focused demos, helping with script writing and story development

  • Partner with Tableau Product team to understand the roadmap and translate new features into benefits for Salesforce customers

  • Represent Tableau in meetings with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers and at Salesforce events such as Dreamforce and World Tours

Who you are...

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar. MBA a plus, but not required.

  • Experience crafting compelling brand and product positioning.

  • Outstanding executive communication, collaboration and influencing skills at senior level

  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.

  • Hands-on capability to create a range of marketing assets, including e-books, webinars, and succinct slide pitch-decks.

  • Strong skills in communication, presenting, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally

  • Established ability to successfully define and drive projects with minimal guidance

  • Proven track record of speaking in front of internal, external, and global audiences.

  • Marketing portfolio with examples showing your writing style is a plus

  • Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and CRM applications (Experience with the Salesforce product is a plus)

  • Location: San Francisco Bay area is preferred, but open to other locations where there is a Salesforce hub office
