Lighting Application scale and reliability team is at the heart of providing this performant and reliable user experience. Technology created by this team powers a number of performance improvements to our core Lightning Platform, which is used by both internal and external developers alike to build the next generation of applications that provide a delightful modern experience to our end users. We’re are looking for an exceptional product manager to come join our team.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include ...

  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs in depth; work with architects and engineering teams to translate those needs into clear priorities, a compelling roadmap, high-impact, innovative features, and sharp product requirements

  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance developer & user satisfaction.

  • Lead the roadmap execution with engineering to drive continuous improvement in capability, scalability and performance of the platform

  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams as well as customer-facing teams, ensuring that products satisfy customers' needs and are highly adopted.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products.

  • Be the primary champion of performance objectives across the Lightning Platform

  • Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, Support, and more to help them understand the vision, roadmap and best practices.

  • Be the trusted advisor during customer interactions, events, and through social media.

Who you are…

  • Passion to build outstanding products.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.

  • Creative thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems.

  • Passion for both user and developer experience. You should know how to ship and drive adoption for developer facing features.

  • Experience building applications on Salesforce platform is a big plus.

  • Experience shipping developer facing product is also a big plus.

  • Hold your own in debates with technical architects, engineers, and designers.

  • Grasp the big picture, while still delivering on the details.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience managing teams using agile/scrum methodologies.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
