Solution Engineering is a “Pre-Sales” or “Sales Consulting” function at Salesforce, responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in a company’s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. Within Solution Engineering, there’s a small but dedicated team of professionals responsible for the strategy & programs required to support the day-to-day operations and ad hoc initiatives of the wider UK & Ireland team.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst/Sr. Analyst, based in our Dublin or London offices, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Programs. This is a multifaceted but key support role that will help create and manage programmatic approaches to our analytics processes, drive best operational practice, provide data-driven insights, and manage communications through various channels on behalf of the Leadership Team.
We are looking for a personable, data-friendly individual that will thrive in a fast-paced environment and succeed in producing impactful content and analysis. Ideally, the candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a blend of consulting, marketing, and data science skill sets. We are open to full-time or part-time candidates.
Required Experience / Skills
Communications: Own regular communications for the Solution Engineering UKI team including Executive presentations, business updates, employee engagement surveys, team announcements, and business reporting
Resource tracking & capacity planning analysis: Run data driven analysis to ensure the right resources are engaged at the right times for flawless technical sales execution.
Data management: Regular systems updates and management for data integrity
Meaningful Metrics: Own data and content consolidation for monthly and quarterly reporting
Program ROI: Create and present analysis on PMO initiatives and programs
Dashboard and data visualization creation and management
Strong communication and business acumen skills
A proven track record of data driven, analytical projects, demonstrating problem solving skills and defined outcomes
The ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritise and re-prioritise as scope and timelines change.
A creative thinker who can bring innovative ideas and help challenge the status quo.
Solution oriented, data driven, learning mindset.
Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to deal with a fast moving dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity
Must be well versed in data analytics tools and data visualization
3+ years of well-rounded Consulting, Business Operations, Sales Strategy, Solution Engineering, or other relevant experience.
Experience working with Cloud Products/Platforms or within a complex, high tech environment.
A degree or equivalent experience in business management, data science, project management or a related field.
Tableau and Salesforce platform experience a plus
