Salesforce is seeking a Product Manager to join the Business Technology Team to specialize in continuous process and systems improvement, focused on the Quote-to-Cash process supporting Partner Revenue Operations. This person will work in the role of a senior business analyst, partnering with product owners to realize roadmap items and c ollaborate with geographically dispersed scrum teams and business partners on critical internal initiatives for a multi-billion dollar business. This role requires someone who is knowledgeable, confident, and passionate about perpetually learning as well as excited about sharing their knowledge with their teams and partners.
The Product Manager will provide guidance throughout the life of a project, from the initial phases of helping identify business requirements to developing and executing strategies to completing flawless execution to production. They translate the business needs into actionable requirements by gathering enough information to make a solution possible as well as helping drive clarity to make rational decisions.

  • Owns the delivery / review of user stories and acceptance criteria that represents the requirements provided by the business.

  • Participates in feature assessment, requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Effectively negotiates work scope with scrum team, business partners and system integrator to align on objectives around time to market, effort and scope.

  • Identifies, manages and communicates dependencies between internal and external teams.

  • Act as a hands-on analyst delivering as-is and to-be process flows and requirements documents.

  • Responsible for monitoring delivery to plan and basic problem resolution.

  • Contributes to business partner vision at the initiative level, influencing scope and delivery options with feedback.

  • Anticipates blockers and obstacles and escalates appropriately to solve.

  • Participates in cross-functional initiatives as a delivery component, representing his/her team's work with a small number of dependencies.

  • Deliver innovative solutions within our internal CRM Salesforce application based on user requirements.

  • Create and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by the area’s delivery teams.

  • Work with the business and IT stakeholders to prioritize work to be delivered by the delivery teams at a sprint level. Work directly with software engineers, BSAs, and system specialists on product delivery.

  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with business and technical peers (written and verbal).

  • Perform some Product Owner responsibilities as needed: adjust product roadmaps, groom backlogs, facilitate with senior leadership.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies.


  • 4-8 years related information systems experience, ideally in a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst capacity.

  • 2+ years in varied roles preferable, including technical support, account management, project management, partner management, or consulting.

  • Typically is a specialist in 4-5 product/platform areas.

  • 2+ years experience in partner operations, particularly in the transactional, Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) space. Knowledge of partner quoting, partner ordering, and partner revenue required.

  • Partner lifecycle management experience is a plus.

  • Varied experience in a variety of partner business models also a plus (two-tier distribution, VARs/resell, managed service, ISVs, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce AppExchange or similar platforms a plus.

  • Experience with B2B commerce, online sales, websites is a plus.
