We are hiring for the position of Product Manager, Commerce Services. As a member of the Business Technology Product Management team, the Product Manager (PM) will specialize in continuous process and systems improvement focused on delivering Commerce Services and orchestration APIs to facilitate eCommerce interactions from various endpoints, managed by a diverse set of stakeholders.
The PM is focused on long and short term vision of the product, harmonizing internal business and Product partners’ interests with IT delivery, and representing the product to the stakeholder and solution contributor community. The PM closely works with our internal business partners and internal & external delivery partners to develop a roadmap of solutions needed to orchestrate key business processes between core systems and eCommerce endpoints serving customers, partners, and internal consumers. The PM then prioritizes the request backlog and translates requirements into user stories for a world-class team of software engineers and business systems analysts.

  • Collaborate with PM team and TMP on the prioritization and delivery of the overall eCommerce strategic roadmap, incorporating projects, features and other key initiatives.

  • Will own, develop and maintain a product roadmap for a specific delivery area that synthesizes the needs of business and external customers over the long and short term. Manage delivery expectations with customers.

  • Can identify business themes and trends and can influence customer vision at roadmap level.

  • Effectively negotiates work scope with business partners to align on objectives around time to market, effort and scope.

  • Owns the delivery of user stories and acceptance criteria that represents the requirements provided by the business.

  • Participates in feature assessment, requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Works with the scrum team in planning and execution of their work.

  • Responsible for delivery to plan, and basic problem resolution. Work with business and IT stakeholders to prioritize work to be delivered by the delivery teams at a sprint level. Work directly with software engineers, BSAs, and system specialists on product delivery.

  • Communicates delivery scope, status and questions back to business. Communicate effectively and appropriately with business and technical peers (written and verbal).

  • Serves as the team's primary, but not only, conduit to their business partner(s). Works with multiple business , IT and Product stakeholders. Work very comfortably with stakeholders at the department or division level.

  • Effectively negotiates work scope with business partners to align on objectives around time to market, effort and value.

  • Create and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by the area’s delivery teams.

  • Manage and communicate tradeoff decisions between scope (value in expected ROI) and schedule (higher operating expense in longer release cycles).

  • Review technical solutions for compliance to business process and objectives, as well as IT standards.

  • Work proactively on customer issues and resolves them in a timely manner.

  • Actively share knowledge - mentor and provide guidance to product analysts and BSAs on best practices, tactics and strategy.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 6+ years experience with the implementation of best in class quote-to-cash or eCommerce systems at large companies.

  • Knowledge of is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Excellent, creative problem-solving skills.

  • Business Process oriented technology & products approach is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, with 6- 10 yrs related information systems experience.

  • Experience with enterprise system implementations and solution architecture for global companies.

  • Proven experience with process improvement or transformation.

  • Proven experience utilizing a framework drive approach to drive prioritization decisions and MVP scope.

  • Proven experience driving alignment between competing stakeholder priorities.

  • Must have the ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies.

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required.

  • Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment.

  • Agile mindset - deep experience with Agile/SCRUM techniques, including backlog prioritization and management.
