PepsiCo Analyst, DMO PMO
PepsiCo operates in an environment undergoing immense and rapid change. PepsiCo’s Data Management and Operations team is tasked with the responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation.
What PepsiCo Data Management and Operations does:
  • Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company
  • Responsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation and access to the PepsiCo corporate data asset
  • Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders
  • Increase awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company
As an Analyst of the PMO team, you will play a key role synchronizing activities inside the Data Management and Operations (DMO) organization and across other teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing changes and new procedures based on thorough review and analysis of current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures. To do this you will evaluate DMO’s operations and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency. You will build relationships within the team and across the company to make sure the right contacts are identified for the right projects and are connected to the appropriate leaders within the DMO organization. You will also be responsible for record-keeping and tracking operating metrics and KPIs for the department.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Act as a central point of contact and key relationship holder of company contacts for DMO staff on various projects
  • Identify operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations within the DMO organization.
  • Perform data management and data entry duties as needed, including weekly reports, distribution of status updates
  • Collaborate with internal clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Work with Data & Analytics team to implement changes to achieve operational excellency.
  • Train DMO staff to use new systems or follow new processes

  • 2 – 3 years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar position
  • BA or BS required
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:
  • Consulting and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills in an information intensive environment
  • Proficient with technology
