Job Description Summary: As Sr. Manager of Partnership Marketing at Venmo, you’ll work with our largest and most strategic partners to create and execute marketing programs that drive mutual growth and amplify our impact on the business and our customers. This role offers an unprecedented opportunity to impact Venmo’s immediate and long-term success, and to help define the future of partnership marketing at Venmo and PayPal. You’ll bring creative, breakthrough marketing ideas to the table, with an extensive analytic and data-driven approach to planning and prioritization. You’ll be responsible for defining and leading high-impact marketing programs that drive new user acquisition and increase usage, loyalty, brand preference and revenue across the Venmo and PayPal network. You’ll work with some of the world's leading brands to bring Venmo’s unique capabilities and benefits to life in their marketing programs and product experiences to reach shared objectives and KPIs. The ideal candidate for this role has a unique ability to take a diverse, complex range of business inputs and translate them into a clear vision and marketing strategy. They can rally and unite internal and external partners to work toward shared goals with clarity and purpose. Job Description:
  • Plan, implement and manage integrated co-marketing programs that drive awareness, acquisition, usage, and preference for Venmo’s products and services.
    • Leverage the unique value of Venmo’s global and US merchant partnerships to drive incremental revenue impact for the business.
    • Establish clear KPIs and ensure impactful testing and measurement for your marketing programs, with strong communication and accountability for results and business impact
    • Ensure budget spends align with overall company and campaign-level objectives
    • Build the business case for different co-marketing opportunities including revenue growth over time, LTV/CAC modeling and payback period to demonstrate efficiency of potential marketing tactics. Work with analytics on A/B testing and demonstrating incrementality of efforts.
  • Work closely with our Global and NA Accounts team to bring new business on board by illustrating the strategic value that Venmo can deliver through high-impact partner marketing programs.
    • Develop sales enablement materials and ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools they need to effectively represent Venmo and our growth opportunities
    • Manage sales training and partner with the Commercial team to manage pipeline and co-marketing opportunities
    • Build and manage strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Use data and insights to make decisions about our highest impact short and long-term opportunities
  • Develop relationships and co-marketing campaigns with new external partners to further integrate Venmo into culture across music, sports, food/beverage, travel and other key verticals. A strong understanding of culture and how to meaningfully connect with Venmo’s audience is a must.
