Job Description Summary: Threat Intelligence Engineer
Job Description:
  • Integrate Threat Intelligence activities into existing Cyber Defense and Vulnerability Management functions, including ad-hoc analysis requests and purple team exercises
  • Prior Threat Intelligence experience (3-5 years), including hands-on experience with various Cybersecurity technologies and standards (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
  • The Threat Intelligence Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert and will work closely with PayPal’s Threat Detection and Cyber Defense Center (CDC) teams to provide strategic, operational and tactical intelligence for cyber investigations.
  • Thorough understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, procedures and concepts within OSINT, online research tools, and cyber threats trends
  • Research, analyze and triage Threat Intelligence feeds to create actionable results for internal stakeholders
  • The engineer will be responsible for collection, analysis, and production of Threat Intelligence products, enabling PayPal to maintain a strong security posture.
