Job Description Summary: Lead test automation engineer for Partners and Marketplaces
The successful candidate will be required to provide end-to-end testing of a broad suite of PayPal and adjacent components, with the mandate to prevent customer-facing incidents.
This position will be an individual contributor role, focused on guiding a team of 4-5 to provide manual and automated testing of Partner, Marketplace, and Multilateral use cases. As such, it will involve the creation of test plans, scoping the test effort, executing test cases, and frequent interaction with both product and engineering teams. Identifying which features or use cases apply to a given project will be key.
Testing efforts will cover REST APIs, as well as mobile and web UI. Demonstrated expertise in software integration testing is essential. Strong Java skills are required. A proven track record of delivering in a fast-paced, complex environment is required; a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is expected. Familiarity with TestNg, Jenkins, SauceLabs, Selenium, JIRA, and GitHub are a plus.
