Job Description Summary: The Global Data Governance and Regulatory Technology (GDGRT) team brings together the best of the PayPal Enterprise to address data privacy to enable a transparent, trusted methods for the consumer to securely manage their data internally. Our team of product managers, designers, and engineers are passionate about their craft and excited to build comprehensive and trusted solutions for the consumer, irrespective of their global location. As a Product Manager on the GDGRT team, you will be responsible for understanding the regulatory requirements for the multilateral business. You will collaborate across the enterprise and ecosystem to deliver the privacy capabilities. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a keen eye for detail, the courage to question the established normal and the drive to solve customers’ challenges.
Job Description:
  • Articulate a clear strategy that will effectively capture business value through efficient presentations and influencing others to achieve the enterprise goals
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to achieve success against the product management plan (including product development, strategy, marketing, sales, support, operations, finance, research and executives) to ensure overall success
  • Evaluate PayPal Consumer Go-to-Market strategies and practices and recommend changes based on industry leading practices and local nuances
  • Driving product vision and strategy, and creating capabilities that delight our customers which can be leveraged when building solutions for PayPal and its adjacencies, such as Venmo, Xoom, Braintree, etc.
  • Represent the product to stakeholders and to peers across PayPal.
  • Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings.
  • Working cross-functionally and build strong relationships with key customers (data engineers, software engineers, product analytics and other business teams) to understand gaps and build the right solutions.
  • Define and measure key performance indicators to evaluate and understand product value.
  • Identify new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, driving innovation.
  • Deliver results.

  • Overall 8-10 years of experience and 4-5 years as a product manager is ideal
  • Passion to product management.
  • A ‘can do’ spirit combined with high energies and positive attitude.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  • Ability to drive people.
  • Self-starter which doesn’t hesitate to proactively approach in order to learn fast.
  • Skilled at working with cross functional groups and matrix organizations in multiple geographies to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tech savvy and loves to stay on top of industry trends.
