Job Description Summary: This position will support the Global Sales organization in identifying/reporting control deficiencies, business risks, issues, incidents, and control enhancement opportunities. This includes the assessment of the effect on organizational objectives, ensuring business owners have appropriate mitigation/remediation strategies that address root cause, and collaborating with the business to achieve a competitive advantage through support of business unit initiatives.
This position will support the Global Sales organization in identifying/reporting control deficiencies, business risks, issues, incidents, and control enhancement opportunities. This position will have responsibility for the Americas region which will require the candidate to already possess strong knowledge and experience working with Americas regulations and risk. Job responsibilities include the assessment of the effect on organizational objectives, ensuring business owners have appropriate mitigation/remediation strategies that address root cause, and collaborating with the business to achieve a competitive advantage through support of business unit initiatives. The support activities include collaborating with Issue Owners, Risk and Compliance Officers (RCOs), SMEs and cross functional internal control partners to perform the following risk management activities;
- Bachelors' degree and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Provide guidance and assist in implementation relating to the development of controls for critical business processes to mitigate compliance/operational risk
- Manage projects end-to-end related to operational/compliance risk or issues
- Provide ongoing support of business unit’s issue management and remediation efforts
- Assist in development of SOPs and applicable policies and procedures
- Develop and support ongoing and targeted testing and monitoring
- Assist in execution of the Annual Risk and Compliance Plan action items
- Support the business with global internal audits, regulatory exam requests, compliance reviews, and other Internal Controls initiatives
- Ensure meetings and critical decision points are clearly documented and communicated. Provide periodic updates on project status and escalate issues to senior management and assist in issue resolution.
- Execute and assist in special projects as assigned
This person should be able to interact successfully at all levels of the company, from individual contributors to executive management. This person should have a proven ability to influence and make key decisions - and thrive - in a highly matrixed environment. This role will require a strong partnership across separate functional areas, lines of business and support areas to drive clear and transparent execution and reporting. The FLOD Manager will collaborate with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defense to achieve business and control goals.
This position is part of a global team which will require coordination between APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North American teams, Legal, Risk Policy, and Global Governance, Risk, & Compliance. This position will have responsibility for the Americas region which will require the candidate to already possess strong knowledge and experience working with Americas regulations and risk.
