The Customer Success Platform team is responsible for developing innovative solutions through applications, integrations, and automations which are used by thousands of customers around the world. Job Requirements
Strong desire to learn, collaborate, succeed through collective team efforts
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Agile/Scrum process and fundamentals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Work independently and with other engineers and product to design and develop enterprise solutions that provide an effortless experience to the business.
Develop multi-tiered software applications with detailed documentation and effective monitoring.
Utilize functional design and analytics to design and implement both front-end and back-end infrastructure with security, performance and reliability at the forefront.
Adapting CI/CD process into application development.
Use PayPal tools, operational procedures, site and solution architecture to enhance the ability for monitoring of operations. Take responsibility for the operability of the component being developed and proactively take ownership of related defects.
Implement and design products so they can withstand changes in product rules, utilization loads and technology environments without redesign.
Demonstrate thought leadership in solving technical problems.
Passionate about developing amazing user experiences with a strong attention to detail
Qualifications
BS in computer science or equivalent and 9 years’ experience in software development or a related computer science field
Experience with a version control system – preferably GitHub
Proficient in client & server-side Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, node.js, React.js,
Competent in developing Node.js applications and building single page web applications using React.js & Redux
Proficient in server side frameworks like Java, C#
Proficient in SQL and ORM frameworks
Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints
Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests
Experience using packaging and build tools
