PayPal is seeking SAP FICO Systems Analyst to join Hyderabad. As a member of FADS SAP FI/CO team, System Analyst will be responsible for providing Domain expertise in their area to help develop new process, improve existing process and be able to adapt new functionalities in existing ERP package for mapping legacy application functionalities; work cross-functionally with Global Finance Operations,. Global Finance Products, Global and local controllership, and other stakeholders to build stable processes and products; Present findings and recommendations to senior-level/non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities include:
  • Drive business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance
  • Expertise in Bank Accounting setup in SAP including Bank Master setup, Electronic Bank Statement Configuration.
  • Must have experience in handling various Banks Statement formats like BAI, MT940, CAMT etc.
  • Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes
  • Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
  • Must have knowledge on various Local GAAP requirements Like Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Israel etc.
  • Develop localization solutions to meet all legal reporting requirements and help controller ship and compliance team to achieve Audit needs.
  • Must have experience in asset accounting.
  • Participation in the design of cross-functional solution areas and integration with other modules
  • Provide business and functional support to the SAP module particularly for conversions from legacy SAP systems to SAP S4 HANA.
  • Assess impact and gaps in the current business processes and configuration for the SAP module vs. the equivalent in SAP S4 HANA, and provide alternatives and recommendations on the delta design.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for the delta design and for tools to support the SAP S4HANA conversion.
  • Execute the necessary system configuration to enable to SAP S4 HANA conversion.
  • Lead testing and defect resolution in the context of SAP S4 HANA conversions.
  • Drive workshops and training sessions with clients.
  • Setup New Functionalities provided by SAP as part of upgrades like Accrual Engine, New asset accounting, etc to simplify the architecture.

Required Skills include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field is preferred
  • 10+ years of expertise in the area of SAP FI/CO, SAP S4 HANA.
  • Must have experience in at least 2 full cycle SAP implementations pilot and at least 2 years experience in an SAP application maintenance and support role.
  • Aptitude for trouble-shooting issues
  • Ability to work with process modeling tools such as HP ALM, IBM BlueWorks Live, Visio, ITSM, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
  • Affinity for a high-performance, project-oriented work environment; ability to pivot to critical path tasks as necessary
  • Team oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
  • Strong technical/development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage deployments from end-to-end.
  • Proven experience leading the design and implementation of application development programs and release management processes.
  • Experience managing projects through the full development life cycle including support during pilot, rollout, and post production.
  • Strong business expertise, keen understanding of business needs, and ability to translate these needs into aggressive yet achievable roadmaps and delivery schedules.
  • Proficient with release documentation and comfortable developing/using metrics to measure release success and identify efficiency improvement areas.
  • Success in developing artifacts to support major software implementation projects with multiple stakeholders across several regions.
  • Professional maturity combined with high energy and collaborate with other teams.
  • Experience working in large, complex environments, with specific focus on infrastructure and/or applications development.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse, highly complex problems and ability to devise solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple project teams and inter-related workstreams including collaboration across multiple organizations such as PMO, IT, QA, Release Management, and Finance operations
