Job Description Summary: The PayPal Global Enterprise Technology and Experience (ETX) Organization is responsible for implementing and supporting enterprise grade products for our customers. In the Salesforce System Administration team, we strive to ensure we are creating, assisting and implementing dynamic user experiences while ensuring the support of innovative solutions. The role is a key part of delivering on that mission and is responsible for managing, governing and enabling seamless processes in the salesforce platform and ecosystem. The Manager of Salesforce System Administration will partner closely with technical teams, such as, Salesforce Developers, Product Managers as well as the business to ensure the health and support of platform is providing the best experience for their customers. You will also be responsible for building metrics through Salesforce Dashboards, KPI’s, on ensuring your teams SLA support, to our customers, provides swift and quickturnarounds. What does success look like for this position? Someone that is comfortable working in a multi-functional setup, demonstrate high degree of autonomy, stay curious, willingness to learn & experiment, and help drive best of class system administration practices. Also is a Salesforce.com resident Subject Matter Expert on the Enterprise Systems team and responsible to develop and/or validate salesforce related solutions to solve business challenges. Being a leader of their team of salesforce administrators and thinks “Process first and system second” by understanding the alignment of business processes to Systems is what drives effective systems implementation.
Job Description:
Skills and Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience working as Salesforce.com leader
  • sales cloud experience, service cloud and marketing cloud
  • Manage and scale a team of best-in-class Salesforce System Administrators
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
  • Experience in supporting, designing, and developing Salesforce.com in a large enterprise environment
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certificationn and Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
  • Deep understanding of ProcessBuilder, Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript capabilities
  • Experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform
  • Exceptional problem solving, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Management and execution of Release Management using GitHub and Case Management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and technical discussions.
  • Hands on experience in performing complex data loads
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce API’s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools. (e.g. Apttus, Conga, Gainsight, Outreach, Five9, Gong)
  • Experience with native Salesforce tools, such as: CPQ, Einstein Analytics, Advanced Approvals, Salesforce Inbox, Quip, Collaborative Forecasting
  • Understanding of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Features and Salesforce Change Management

Responsibilities Include:
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud system configuration and troubleshooting issues
  • Partner with Product managers and Technical Architects on complex business problems to provide optimal solutions for users
  • Support daily support queue and triage cases/issues between team members
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices. Make recommendations to management regarding implementation as needed
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables at once while keeping tight and ever-changing deadlines is a must
  • Assist in evaluating, select, implement, and integrate technology tools into a solution to support our business unit stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ETL integrations with connected databases
  • Support all projects set by the business with weekly, monthly and quarterly release management changes.
  • Supporting, collaborating and working cross functionally with sales, developers/engineering teams, QA teams, and stakeholders
  • Provide technical mentorship to a team of system admins, who improve and maintain PayPal Salesforce platform
  • Implementing data-driven business decisions to meet analytical and operational reporting needs supported within the Salesforce platform
  • Being a subject matter expert in the Salesdforce.com domain, the market, and the trends
  • Build and report tangible measures of success for System Administrators (e.g. SLA on cases)
