Job Description Summary: Zettle by PayPal is looking for a Product leader to take ownership of PayPal Here product and oversee product development of critical components for Zettle (onboarding, mobile payments, SDK). You will launch products globally and you will work to deliver to small business owners the joint value of PayPal and Zettle offering. You will drive the innovations to make in-store experiences including mobile payments so delightful that small business owners can't imagine going back. You will explore the problem/solution space, define the strategy, and lead a team through a fast-moving lean process to deliver to customers. You are a very strong technology and product leader. You are an expert in software (mobile and web) and are not afraid of hardware products. If you have built real world retail experiences, or launched/built APIs or SDK you have an advantage. We are a small, fast-moving team that is passionate about transforming retail experience. We are seeking the best-of-the-best product managers who demonstrate strong technical capabilities, strategic leadership, showcase a culture of excellence and have deep experience in building amazing products, with proven success in changing customers' lives! This is a global, broad, strategic role that that requires close partnership with business development and business units globally.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:

  • Drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution across your area

  • Set vision and goals for the teams in your area

  • Lead and inspire the team of Product Managers, support and develop your team

  • Empower Product Managers in your area to get things done - serve as a point of escalation for the team, helping to remove barriers and roadblocks and navigate difficult or complex decisions

  • Influence senior leaders and the broader organization as to the product direction and other key strategic considerations.

  • Partner across the organisation to deliver business results in a product ecosystem environment while communicating and influencing effectively

  • Develop and defend strong points-of-view with data and analytics

  • Own business outcomes and will be responsible for hitting experience and revenue targets by improving and re-imaging the experience for new customers.

Success in this role requires the following:

  • 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years of people management

  • Customers Empathy: Excited about building great user experiences for customers

  • Experience managing/mentoring Product Managers

  • Experience building complex consumer-facing products

  • Strong technical knowledge – experience working with SDK products

  • You thrive in organizations with a large portion of ambiguity and complexity

  • Computer Science background or equivalent technical Product Management experience
