Job Description Summary: The Consumer Engagement Leader is responsible for driving usage and engagement among existing customers across our portfolio of consumer brands including PayPal, Venmo, Xoom, Honey, and PayPal Credit. This leader will head up a team of B2C Marketers running owned, earned, and paid engagement programs, and will be responsible for channel management and contact strategy across our owned channels. This role will be a critical partner to the segment marketers and product leaders managing these brands. Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement Strategy: Manage a portfolio of marketing and lifecycle programs within and across our brands in partnership with segment and regional marketing teams, product and sales leaders
  • New Programs: Identify and scale new programs and step-change performance improvement opportunities that “raise the ceiling”
  • Performance Accountability: Build a program portfolio and an operating model that delivers reliable returns on investment
  • Channel Management and Contact Strategy: Deliver customer-centric, transparent, flexible management of our owned channels as a service to the enterprise
  • Growth Discipline: Run a high-performance team embodying agile ways of working to drive continuous improvement in program performance
  • Growth Infrastructure: Shape the roadmap of supporting teams and drive adoption of new tools and capabilities to drive performance
  • Marketing Integration: Connect our engagement efforts with demand generation and brand marketing in order drive performance and support company priorities
  • Talent Development: Manage, mentor, and inspire the Customer Engagement team to achieve their goals, to contribute to the business and to develop, learn and grow while they build a successful marketing career at PayPal
  • Functional Leadership: Play a leadership role within the broader Performance and Growth Marketing teams. Contribute to building a high-performance marketing team renown for accountability, executional excellence, business impact and teamwork

Requisite Experience
  • Senior Performance Marketer with 5+ years’ experience, 10+ experience in leadership role
  • Global Operator with track record in working empathetically across multiple geographies
  • Growth Marketer demonstrated capabilities in developing insight led test and learn approach across end to end funnel for customer and business impact
  • Customer Champion with demonstrated track record in designing marketing solutions with customer at center
  • Channel and Inventory Management experience in traditional and high-automated environments
  • Winning Engagement Marketing Strategies – you have implemented game changing ideas that have changed the course of businesses and brands
  • Commercial Owner experience in budget & P&L accountabilities, linkage of investment to growth strategies
  • Proven team transformation experience in hiring, retaining, and coaching a team for peak performance
  • Payments experience highly valued
