Job Description Summary: As a member of PayPal’s Marketing Finance team, this position will play a key role executing and tracking Marketing spend across different Segments and tools and streamlining processes across Segment and geographies.
Job Description:
  • Be a part of Finance Operations (Fin. Ops.) team and provide support in NA and EMEA time zone to Fin. Ops. and Marketing organization
  • As part of Fin. Ops team - ensure strict financial discipline across Budget Lifecycle i.e., ensure Marketing Leadership budget commitments match with budget roll up at PO level
  • Establish world class PO management processes & ensure its implementation across Growth Marketing
  • Have One team mindset to drive process changes that bring uniformity in Financial processes
  • Lead design and creation of Budget Tracking templates and ensure correct data population across these templates
  • Ensure system integration of PO level data into Financial applications to keep Financial system honest as of date
  • Lead OPEX reconciliation exercise with monthly P&L spend at global level
  • Lead discussions with Payables team and be a problem solver taking care of Invoicing management
  • Set up Invoicing Management processes to proactive detect Invoicing issues, call gaps at team level, set up cadence and resolve issues in a proactive manner
  • Closely liaise with Legal, Procurement and EMT team to lead and close discussions around PO management
  • Provide support in Vendor Management and onboarding of new vendors
  • Work directly with Marketing team and Program Managers
  • Administer the financial and compliance aspects of Marketing Budget
  • Render budgeting and financial support to the team
  • Undertake proper financial planning and decision making
  • Maintain and optimize existing OPEX processes to improve efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and GAAP regulations
  • Financial Modeling and Planning, including trend and variance analysis

Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a high growth technology company, fin tech preferred
  • 5yrs+ proven global stakeholder management experience required
  • 5yrs+ experience in financial modelling
  • 3yrs+ experience of working with Marketing department
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Masters Equivalent or advanced certification in Finance and or Analytics

  • Strong candidates will have MS Excel & PowerPoint expertise and working experience with SAP/Oracle systems.
