Job Description Summary: PayPal HR is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support several of our foundational engineering executives to develop business objectives and interpret what people enablers are necessary to deliver business results. The individual will have responsibility for clients in multiple geographic locations and will partner with the broader HR team on planning and delivering HR programs and services to the business. The successful candidate will partner across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including Talent & Development, Total Rewards, Diversity / Inclusion / Equity & Belonging, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition to drive business outcomes against the execution of our global HR and business priorities. Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR for the Infrastructure & Platform Engineering organizations, the HR Business Partner will work closely with Engineering Executives to drive business outcomes and strong employee engagement through the development of and execution of aligned talent strategies. Responsibilities will be broad: strategic thought partnership, leadership consulting on HR matters, people manager development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment, geolocation and workforce planning, and promoting a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging. This individual will also be charged with strengthening the leadership team by providing coaching and counsel to senior leaders to further develop their leadership capability and capacity. This global role is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of progressively increasing scope and in matrixed, high-growth, global organizations
  • Experience in a high profile, strategic HR role with heavy executive-level interface and a high degree of executive influence
  • Significant depth in organizational design & learning, people manager development, facilitation, and Employee Relations is desired
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
