Job Description Summary: This particular opportunity is within PayPal Risk. PayPal's Risk Department is responsible for partnering with global business units to manage a variety of risk types including identity fraud, account take over and credit issues. This is an exciting department where the contributions by the team members can really help PayPal's bottom line and create experiences that our customers love. We empower our teams to solve hard problems – customer problems and risk problems – in ways that our customers love, yet work for our risk business. We staff our teams with the skills necessary to come up with effective solutions that are valuable (the solution stops fraudsters and is also customer friendly), viable (the solution works within the many constraints of business), and feasible (our teams have the skills and technology to implement). While we empower our teams to figure out the best solutions to the problems that need to be solved, we also hold those teams accountable to the results. We look for candidates that are not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through others to achieve the necessary results. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.
