The Social Impact Business Development Consultant plays a vital role in expanding our Social Impact commitment to North America. Social Impact Business Development Consultant sells the no-cost NetSuite software donation to nonprofit prospects. You will need to be able to convey the benefit of our software donation program to nonprofits in the region and close them as Social Impact customers so they join our community of nonprofits.
The ideal candidate for this role is a highly motivated, nonprofit orientated individual who has a strong desire to be part of a close-knit team and has the ability to represent and advocate the programs of Social Impact: Suite Donation, Suite Pro Bono and Suite Capacity programs.
Achieve and exceed against monthly quotas for new Social Impact customers
Manage and close software donation opportunities. Build strong, authentic relationships with clients
Present Social Impact software donation offerings in a compelling, positive, and professional way
Negotiate pricing (if any) and contractual terms to close sale when applicable
Collaborate with Social Impact team on lead generation, organizing nonprofit Tech , referral campaigns and setting events that would generate leads.
Attend networking events such as conferences, forums, workshops, etc. to look for prospects and represent Social Impact Group.
Support other sales reps and channel managers as needed to help close non profit deals
Non profit/fundraising experience a plus
As a member of the Social Impact Team, their passion and priority should be to help nonprofits under $5 million achieve their business vision with NetSuite technology.
Oracle NetSuite Social Impact supports the acquisition and success of charities and social enterprises under $5 million across the globe with software donation, pro bono programs and Hackathons.
Engages in business development strategies and programs in support of Oracle's Sales Organization.
Assists in the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Assists in analyzing market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information. Assists in identification of volume and strategic customers. Primary interaction is with Oracle sales force; however, may interact with external customers as it relates to the development and facilitation of ongoing business and/or business relationship. Supports the business by interfacing with the sales organization and other internal groups (such as Product Development, Operations, GBUs, Marketing, etc.)
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-5 years of Marketing/Business Development experience in the technology industry, preferably software industry. Experience should include relationship management. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
