The Financial Crime and Compliance Management team under OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Advanced Analytics) is responsible to create industry-leading products for enterprises to enable efficient detection, investigation, and reporting of suspected money laundering and terrorist financing activity.
Job Description
Oracle is looking for Senior Manager who is responsible for managing QA operations and resources i.e. managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, delivery management and sales enablement along with help us to build next generation Transaction Monitoring and Fraud detection systems that would help financial institutions across the world to meet the global regulatory and compliance requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Program management driving test strategy across agile and waterfall projects.
• Should be able to lead a team of 10-15 people with good hands-on technical experience
• Manage the Daily/Weekly activities of the Test Team Members and support the onboarding of new team members
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
• Contribute to program/project review meetings. Support Quality Assurance Management in determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities
• Understand, design, create and execute functional and non-functional test cases
• Ability to think out of the box while designing test scenarios
• Ability to apply the best testing techniques and methodologies for functional and non-functional scenarios
• Contribute to process improvements and implement latest trends and techniques in testing
• Contribute to the overall product development by testing the application from an end user point of view
• Work closely with product managers, developers to analyze and solve product issues
• Understand the requirements quickly, architect and design test strategies, provide effort estimations as inputs to SOWs using best QA practices, peer review and take it all the way to production releases while collaborating with development engineers, stakeholders and the build/release team.
• Well versed in working with collaborative tools like Confluence wiki, JIRA.
• Create test strategies and designs leveraging mock test cases/response validation.
• Provide support for investigation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues including resolution.
• Collaborate with developers on new software features as well as enhancements to existing functionality.
• Support the production release activities including dry-run certification and verification.
Qualifications
• Candidate should have 10+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation) with a solid understanding of Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting & Tracking
• Experience in regulatory and compliance domain is mandatory
• Should have strong experience in automating web-based application and developing Automation framework using Selenium or any other automation tools.
• Should have strong experience in SQL/PL-SQL, Rest Services and API testing
• Should have strong experience in web based front end & backend testing
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills and can willing to go that extra mile to attain perfection
• Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Proactive, willing to take ownership, ability to quickly learn new technologies and take up new tasks and initiatives
• Should have exposure to Micro services architecture
• Good to have Skill sets for verification of the Machine learning applications to ensure that the testing process progresses smoothly with a high degree of reliability will be an added advantage.
• Good to have exposure in Python programming.
Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
