Preferred Qualifications
The Oracle Data Cloud is seeking a Client Development Manager with a strong ad tech background who will own a sales territory made up of existing brand, agency, and publisher accounts on the Data Enablement Team. The Data Enablement team is tasked with driving committed, recurring revenue across a wide variety of ODC products.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is driven by helping develop new products, cultivating relationships, driving revenue, closing deals, identifying and clearing hurdles to growth, collaborating with other teams, and expanding the overall opportunity with their clients.
The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track of record of growing and preserving client relationships with a value-based selling approach.
The Client Development Manager will be responsible for preserving existing revenue in an assigned territory of Data Enablement accounts, as well as driving new revenue through the sale of net-new solutions.
The right team member will collaborate effectively with internal teams including account managers, product, client analytics, other client partners, and more to drive deeper relationships, engagement, and adoption of data enablement products. The ability to work effectively with an Account Manager is highly important to success – building a trusted partnership between sales (to build and deepen the relationship set) and Account Management (to develop and execute the strategy to delight key stakeholders, increase product adoption and revenue growth.)
Responsibilities
Ensure high client retention rates are achieved in close partnership with Account Managers.
Consistently grow and preserve revenue across existing clients - at or above revenue quota.
Educate multiple levels of clients, up to executives, on benefits of Oracle Data Cloud solutions.
Build account plans and scale winning go-to-market strategies to deepen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Manage all aspects of the sales process internally/externally, including sales forecast and contracting.
Embrace the belief that all clients should have an amazing and consistent experience when working with the Oracle Data Cloud – constantly striving to deliver that experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
5+ years of Ad Tech sales, preferably in data-driven solutions.
Well-versed in value selling and have a proven track record of growing revenue across an existing client portfolio.
Experience collaborating with internal teams to ensure high client retention rates.
Comfort presenting at all levels, including C-level and decision-makers.
Ability to use creativity to architect complex deals.
Success at navigating complex organizations to build strong relationships.
Tremendous work ethic, laser focus, passion, and commitment.
Strong interest in learning about new technology and can translate that into value for clients.
Team player who thrives in a rapidly changing environment.
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 3 or more years of sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with Bachelor degree or equivalent.
