NVIDIA is looking for an experienced engineer to manage and improve our documentation toolchain and to populate our web properties with high-quality content. This position will span a variety of development and publishing environments, so breadth of experience and ability to juggle priorities is a requirement. In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping vital toolchains and build environments up to date and running smoothly, as well as working with multiple business units and teams to create compelling content for our documentation landing pages, which serve the ongoing needs of over one million registered developers!
What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain and upgrade multiple authoring tools and workflows, including reStructuredText/Sphinx, DITA, Markdown, Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.

  • Create developer-oriented landing pages, working closely with various product managers, designers, and tech writers.

  • Work on and update build tools and scripts as needed.

  • Employ Search Engine Optimization techniques and maintaining sitemaps.

  • Work with the Content Delivery Network team to set up and maintain redirects.

What we need to see:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years as a web content developer.

  • A consistent track record of high-quality web content creation, including hand-crafting content in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with software versioning concepts.

  • Experience working with XML and XSLT (DITA is a plus).

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with other developers in the organization and with support organizations.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Building content for developer-focused websites and communities.

  • Working with technical writers.

  • JQuery, BootStrap, React, and Drupal.

  • Maintaining and upgrading Linux boxes with multiple users.

  • Command line environments for file manipulation.

  • Jenkins-based automation.

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that NVIDIA provide the compensation range and benefits offered for this position if performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado is $111,600.00 - 153,450.00 USD.

We provide health care coverage, dental and vision, 401(K), including company matching and after tax contributions, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave, vacation leave, professional time off, life and disability protection. Employees in eligible sales and positions may also be eligible for commission.
Base pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons.
