We are seeking a Sensor Program Manager to lead custom sensor development programs as well as arrange for deployment of ‘off the shelf’ solutions for groundbreaking applications such as Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles.
What you’ll be doing:
As a member of the sensor team, you will work with other NVIDIA product teams to ensure their sensor needs are met. We work closely with multiple internal cross-functional teams as well as multiple vendors, often across geographies. You will provide leadership, mentorship, direction and focus to drive sensor projects and meet their schedules.
What we need to see:
Identifies key project landmarks and ensures resource commitments are obtained.
Develop processes for design, characterization and validation of sensors.
Resolves issues/disconnects within teams. Raises issues to management as the need arises.
Assesses risks and executes risk management plans.
Provides senior management with timely Project Status reports, schedule updates, risks / issues.
BSEE degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience
Experience with camera module, lens, and sensor design and manufacturing processes.
Minimum three years of project/program management experience within an engineering environment.
Consistent track record of managing the release of quality projects into manufacturing.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Project, and MS Excel.
Capability to quickly learn, understand, communicate and integrate technical concepts and issues.
Strong leadership, facilitation, and program management skills are required to be successful in this role.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to travel, mainly to Asia.
Familiar with factory audit process is a plus.
