The NVIDIA IT Operations team is looking for a senior system administrator with extensive experience with IT system monitoring, and designing and tuning Splunk Search and ES environments. As we build and grow the internal and cloud environments which host the NVIDIA IT applications we are seeking an experienced and self-motivated standout colleague who can help expand our operational monitoring and security analytics capabilities.

Use your extensive experience supporting and growing Splunk as a tool for operational and security analytics.
Analyze and refine the current Splunk architecture to support current and future growth.
Work with Security and IT partners to ingest security and operational data into Splunk.
Collaborate with Splunk users to build queries, dashboards, reports and alerts, and champion the use of optimized queries.
Expand and refine the use of the Splunk Enterprise Security Suite by NVIDIA security teams.
Refine the log ingestion and indexing architecture for cloud systems, and expand the log collection infrastructure and logging breadth.
Help automate system and application monitoring and logging configurations for multiple monitoring solutions, including Splunk.
Work with teams to develop Machine Learning solutions for complex Security and operational challenges.
Be a proactive problem solver, looking out for new opportunities to improve our operational efficiency and improve our services and customer experience.
Communicate readily with your peers across the organization, building relationships and collaborating effectively
Collaborate closely with multiple NVIDIA security, Operations, and IT teams to influence the design and use of the Splunk environment to support their analytics and machine learning use cases.
BS or equivalent industry experience
8+ years industry experience as a system administrator (Splunk Enterprise Architect and Advanced Power User certifications a plus)
8+ years designing and supporting Splunk Enterprise Security solutions (Splunk ES Admin certification a plus)
Solid work history in fast growing companies designing and expanding IT and security monitoring, and log analytics solutions.
Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.
