We are now looking for a Senior Systems Architect, 5G!
The 5G Team at NVIDIA is bringing GPU-Accelerated 5G Virtual Radio Access Networks (vRAN) to address the growing demand for high performance, software defined, cloud native platforms. We are working on the delivery of hardware systems for building high-performance, software-defined, cloud-native 5G applications, and achieve optimized results using optimized configurations of CPU, GPU, networking and fixed function accelerators for baseband signals and data flow. We are seeking the following key talent to help us achieve our goals.

As a member of the 5G Product Architecture team, you will be responsible for defining systems, and SoCs for building standard server systems using GPUs, as well as optimized purpose built systems using custom SoCs.
Be the resident specialist on system performance, power and capabilities; with a very good understanding of the use case, and how it maps to our various platforms and systems.
Work with SoC, GPU architecture teams, Application and Algorithm SW teams, System SW teams, SW groups to nail down bottlenecks and work with them to come up with right optimization solutions.
Define system use cases for power, performance.
Ways to stand out of the crowd:
BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field and 10+ years’ experience or PhD with 5+ years’ experience
Must have a good understanding of systems architecture, hardware and software development; with experience in early architectural exploration.
Understanding of the 5G/LTE protocol stack, and systems deployments.
Knowledge of SoC architecture, CPU and GPU computing architecture, accelerator integration trade-offs, as well as memory and I/O interfaces.
Desire to go deep into GPU, CUDA and algorithms details to address functional and performance issues.
Experience interacting with Tier1 customers, with a deep technical discussion will help you stand apart from the crowd.
Appetite to learn about the application of machine and deep learning algorithms for vRAN signal processing.
