What we need to see:
Abstracting HW Fleet operations: responsible for HW Fleet operations to the rest of the organization, including to developers and to validation
HW Fleet operations will provide the car service and the Garage service Worldwide
Onboard new regions and cars: Own the Ops roadmap, and execute onboarding new cars and routes in various regions alongside HW Fleet operations, and other dependent teams (Validation, Product, Route/Mapping, Data, edge tooling and infrastructure)
Execute the WW test plan for driving
Manage the validation teams to execute the worldwide Test plan on the set cadence and procedure worldwide. Quality control reporting of this work and ensuring proper process for filing tickets with essential logs
Report, track and improve Fleet efficiency: own the fleet efficiency across car, garage, people and execution. Drive it to the Speed of light. Own/ Escalate and drive major gaps and failures through systemic improvements
Provide Fleet access to development as a service: Setup the necessary process for the teams to access the fleet and related infrastructure for developer testing before changes get into production
Extend good practices and the OPS framework into OEM fleets: Part of our fleet will be operated by OEMs, this role would ensure that the APIs to the OEM fleet are exactly the same as the NVIDIA Fleet. And can operate at scale across multiple OEMs
Workflow & tooling: Support the tooling teams to rapidly prototyping solutions to unblock execution and working with the relevant tooling ops teams to productionize them in a manner that is consistent with the broader process/ecosystem
KPIs & analytics: support the KPI teams to Implementing, reporting, and analyzing E2E product KPIs to understand the current state of our software and inform product priorities
BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or field experience
8+ years of relevant work experience
10+ years of proven experience managing operations teams and Triage/ Fast response teams, and specifically scaling out through tools, automation and personnel
Vehicle platform or similar management experience
Experience in automating workflows
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across various teams
Problem solver and “Buck stops with you” leadership
