Senior OEM Systems Engineer, Linux

We are seeking a Linux enthusiast with interest in visual computing, parallel processing, cloud computing or gaming to be an integral part of our customer solutions team. Our team gets to work multi-functionally with program managers, software engineers and customers to investigate customer reported issues, assist in root cause determination, and verify reported defects are fixed.
What You'll Be Doing :

  • Work on complex issues to replicate customer environment.

  • Identify bottlenecks in the system and suggest creative ways to improve system performance.

  • You will help triage, isolate and resolve reported problems.

What We Need To See:

  • You should consider yourself a power user of Linux\Unix operating systems.

  • Extensive experience problem solving various Linux distributions or embedded systems.

  • Deep understanding of PC architecture.

  • You like programming or have scripting experience with Visual C/C++, C#, TCL, Perl, or Python required.

  • Knowledge and an interest in learning about OpenGL and CUDA.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • BS in CS\CE or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years or more experience.
