The NVIDIA Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for GeForce Now to join our Cloud/Datacenter team in Santa Clara, CA, to provide complete and timely analysis and insight that help craft key investment decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
This role will manage and continuously improve the methods we used to analyze our capital investments and help build the way we architect and track them. This is a highly visible role that will involve interaction with business and engineering leaders across NVIDIA. The successful candidate will have shown experience in roles influencing senior leaders and supporting decision-making in a growth environment. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies while taking care of complex data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.
Responsibilities include:

  • Drive monthly financial close and forecasting activities as well as an annual planning exercise

  • Drive monthly reviews with key business partners

  • Influence the development of scalable financial processes and metrics by partnering with business, finance, and systems teams

  • Develop ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support data-driven decision making

  • Communicate financial results and forecasts to the GFN leadership team

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or other analytical-heavy positions at a fast-growing technology company is preferred

  • Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, highly adept with Excel and other productivity tools (Google docs, spreadsheets, slides)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail

  • Aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies while dealing with complex data

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Articulate sophisticated issues in a simple and concise manner

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

  • Establish credibility and trust with the team

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience performing forecasting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • Comfortable working with a large, complex data set

  • Self-starter with profound attention to detail

  • Experience with SAP including BPC Business Planning/Coupa/etc
