The developer marketing events team is responsible for conceptualizing/executing high-impact events for NVIDIA partners and users around the world. The Conference Registration Manager will support NVIDIA’s conferences in the US and regionally. We need a passionate, hard-working and creative person to help us pursue some of the rare opportunities our technology has built. NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC), showcases the latest breakthroughs from universities, major enterprises and startups in a wide range of fields such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, robotics, virtual reality and more. Since its inception in 2009, GTC has been lauded by press and attendees as the most valuable conference in its field.

What we need to see:
Conference operations and support for all attendees focusing on registration and customer service
Primary internal contact for registration-related information
Work with event tech lead to build and test registration system with multiple paths for different audiences.
Lead third-party vendors such as technology providers, including registration, online registration, and onsite services while staying within scope and budget
Test and evaluate registration websites prior to launch for accuracy and functionality
Customize and produce reports to communicate registration information to internal stakeholders
Identify and implement ongoing improvements on existing registration processes and procedures
Work cross functionally with operations, creative services, technical and marketing teams to ensure success
Establish and monitor event budget, negotiate fees and pricing
Define event goals, strategies, and return on investment criteria that will help NVIDIA meet its business objectives.
Overall management of registration systems, staffing, set up and equipment
Coordinate logistics including service requirements onsite set up and tear down, hotel rooming lists, onsite staffing and training, and post-show satisfaction surveys and reports
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Creative and dedicated individual with 3+ years of corporate event marketing and conference experience, preferably in the PC, high tech or gaming industry
Great customer service and communication skills
Successful demonstration of registration and communications best practices
Familiar with current registration systems and it's functionalities
Technical understanding and experience configuring/managing event registration platforms including logic, rules and fields within system
A balance of technical savvy, creativity and effective interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented and organized while meeting tight deadlines under pressure and driving teams
Able to work independently and follow process with minimal supervision
Available to travel for week-long periods about four-five times per year and stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy boxes (30+ lbs.)
BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience
Proven success in managing conference operations
Strong project management, customer service and relationship-building skills
Marketing-minded, not just project-minded
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Can-do attitude, growth mindset
