  • Be a driving force for the Insights & Analytics team, taking ownership of data insights strategy and implementation.
  • Design and engineer effective experiments, algorithms, analyses, and models to derive high impact actionable insights that meet customer, engineering, and business needs.
  • Focus on identifying actionable results and metrics, which can be used to drive improvements to key Dynamics 365 scenarios.
  • Design and develop core business metrics, create insightful automated dashboards and data visualizations to track them and extract useful business insights.
  • Work closely with numerous stakeholders in the wider organization to create more consistent metrics and reports across Dynamics products, engineering efforts and customer behavior.
  • Work with engineers across DPG to interpret results, validate approaches, and learn to monitor, analyze, and iterate to continuously improve.
  • Apply machine learning techniques and effectively communicate analysis findings through interactive visualizations, documents, and presentations
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and establish a culture of data-driven business decision-making.

Support other teams on selected data projects, with training or ad-hoc analysis. Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering and/or Data Science.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with analytics services like Microsoft Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.

  • Degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative focused field.
  • Experience with modern data warehouse systems: Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Redshift, Snowflake.
  • Experience with code repository/versioning system (git/svn/etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience, including executives.
  • Understanding of public cloud design patterns and considerations in the areas of distributed systems, distributed storage systems, big - data, data mining, information retrieval.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, F#, Python, R, Java, etc.
  • Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data
  • Enjoy discovering and solving problems; proactively seeking clarification of requirements and direction; being a self-starter who takes responsibility when required
