The DPS & IoT Operations Team consists of approximately 40+ professionals worldwide who are accountable for executing new programs and product launch, driving optimization, and ensuring robust delivery and support to our global manufacturing partners in support of Device Partner Sales (DPS). The Global Operations Director role leads the Licensing & Revenue Management (LRM) team, a global function responsible for excellence in processing contracts, ordering and billing, revenue recognition, audit and compliance, program design and execution while maintaining excellent customer and partner experiences.

This Global Operations Director is accountable for driving seamless support across day-to-day operations as well as landing change to support new programs, products, or systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading globally in a highly matrixed multinational organization and exhibit strong communication, judgement and influencing skills, as well as excellent cross team collaboration and a strong customer focus. This position is a manager of mangers role, a senior member of the Global Leadership Team for DPS & IoT Operations, as well as an extended member of the Americas Operations Leadership Team.
  • Accelerate and deliver the next transformation phase in global LRM capabilities, channels, and shared services, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Operational excellence in the contract to billing process and in the delivery of shared services (BI, Systems & Tools, Service Delivery, Compliance and Process Management) for DPS & IoT.
  • Drive customer obsession within the team to ensure that customer experience is a critical consideration in how we operate, and that customers are satisfied with the Agreement to Invoice process
  • Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships at senior levels across the business, and to influence these business partners to deliver optimum solutions for customers & partners.
  • Contribute effectively to the DPS & IoT leadership team and to the Americas Operations leadership team through insights, input, feedback, influence, support, challenge, and leadership of initiatives.
  • Driving cross organization initiatives and contributing more broadly than core functional responsibilities
  • Attract, retain, and develop a diverse and high performing team, including both managers and program managers, that consistently produce value for the business.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
Ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in working effectively in cross-functional international teams (often virtual) comprised of full-time employees and vendors. They should also possess strong leadership & organizational skills and positively influence others. Additionally, can think creatively, be analytical, objective, and independent, and speak in both business and technical terms. They will play a critical role in managing a group of individuals responsible for managing across broad processes, capabilities for how we transact business in our DPS & IoT channels.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years minimum management experience.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in operations or matrixed business environment.
  • BA/BS degree is business related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading broadly with global teams, multi-functions and across organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills and leader with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions, both internally and externally
  • Build a diverse team with capabilities needed to achieve current and future business objectives. Balance the development of existing employees while bringing in new external and internal talent.

  • Proven experience in global program management where the design, development and implementation of new processes, products, systems, and operating models is an ongoing business requirement
