The Customer Success Team is an organization responsible for helping customers achieve their business outcomes through their investment in Microsoft. This role sits in the Customer Success organization within WCB, focusing on Microsoft’s Security Solution Area.
We are looking for a high-energy leader to drive consumption execution, orchestration, and cross-group activities in the Security solution area. This is a strategic, field-facing role that is accountable for consumption strategy, execution, and readiness activities driven by Cloud Solution Architects, Customer Engineers, and Managers.
You will develop and manage the orchestration design for field execution based on customer journey flows for each key sales and consumption play. You will partner with the Engineering, Marketing, Solutions, Partner, and Services organizations to gather and organize the collateral for each consumption play in alignment with the overall consumption strategy. You will run the monthly/quarterly RoB and workload scrums, gather and report consumption escalations, patterns, and insights to workload stakeholders, including field leadership team through a regular monthly business review cadence. Responsibilities
Drive the orchestration guidance and consumption play collateral for Azure Security solutions:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering, Marketing, Solutions, Partner, and Services orgs to develop the collateral for consumption plays including clear guidance for a simplified, consistent field resource.
  • Review and sign-off the collateral and tools (MSX) for each consumption play based on the customer perspective and focused on field adoption.
  • Support the landing of the consumption plays with the field resources and coordinate the readiness activities needed to drive adoption.
  • Gather feedback on the plays and content from the field and customers/partners to feed into ongoing evolution of the collateral.
Own the worldwide business results and insights for the consumption of Azure Security solutions:
  • Accountability for growth and target attainment on the worldwide business for this solution space.
  • Support performance of the business on leading indicators and KPIs for business geo and segment.
  • Support development and ownership of a Plan to Exceed plan for the consumption of this workload.
  • Identify, capture, and communicate customer, partner, and field insights on this solution space to inform the consumption strategy as well as overall business strategy.
Demonstrate excellence in program management to drive towards the overall business objectives:
  • Depth of knowledge on program management best practices and subject matter knowledge on consumption of Azure Security services.
  • Learnings and insights on the strengths and weaknesses of competitive offerings and market trends.
  • Expertise on the field CSA role including the effectiveness of specific plays, guidance, and collateral as well as the keys to delivering a simplified, consistent field experience for this solutions space.
Alignment with the Security Solution Area priorities and team:
  • Understand Microsoft Security business, design pilots and strategies to support the metrics.
  • Be a strong team player within CSU and other Microsoft teams and drive a sense of urgency.
  • Review Worldwide team feedback during business update synchs and work with the Initiative Leads, Field Enablement, operation teams and with Areas to course correct and address issues.
  • Align closely with Security Partner and Scale Leads to develop complimentary strategies that ensure scale and partner motions drive greatest impact.
  • Report out monthly impact of consumption and usage initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in customer success management or channel partner experience.
  • Experience with managing senior stakeholders with worldwide responsibilities.
  • Clear understanding of the Security business, Microsoft’s end-to-end Security value proposition, key customer requirements, competitors, and industry trends impacting engagements.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to align various stakeholders on common goal for customers.
  • Ability to Manage remote global v-teams and influence without authority.
  • Experience designing and executing technical readiness programs.
  • Ability to rapidly test and fail fast to learn and course correct through rapid prototyping.
  • High energy individual with startup mentality to define strategy and build execution plans.
  • Strong, confident executive communication (written and oral).
