Partner Solution Strategy Lead for SAP on Azure & High Performance Computing (HPC)

The Azure Infrastructure Partner Strategy team’s
mission is to influence, land and optimize Azure Infrastructure strategy, empowering our partner ecosystem to maximize revenue growth. We provide thought leadership and advocacy to ensure we have the right partners, right programs, and right investments to accelerate customer digital transformation.
The team is looking for an SAP on Azure & HPC Lead, who will be instrumental in scaling these businesses across our vibrant partner ecosystem worldwide. You will be responsible for developing the partner strategy, defining and managing partner capacity, capability and performance, guiding worldwide investments and creating scalable programs that help our partner ecosystem deliver the right solutions to customers at scale.
She/he will lead the partner strategy and execution end-to-end, from partner recruitment, enablement, go-to-market, and co-selling with Microsoft, in partnership with Product Marketing/Engineering/Solutions Sales/Industry Sales/Partner Development/Program Management teams.
In addition to providing execution guidance for Microsoft’s partner facing roles worldwide and directly to partners. She/he will use their expertise and collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to launch and successfully drive performance for SAP & HPC business programs/campaigns.
Strategy & Plan
Responsible for the end-to-end partner business planning and strategy for SAP on Azure and HPC.
- Co-design the partner programs and investments, define metrics and KPIs, and secure investments as needed.
Engage with global and local partners, partner development managers, partner technical resource and field sellers to land the SAP on Azure and HPC partner strategy and execution end to end across the recruit, capacity and capabilities building, go-to-market, and co-sell motions.
Gather feedback, share actionable insights and design/refine new strategy/programs to drive business growth through partners. Serve as a trusted advisor, thought leader and solution area expert.
Conduct partner meetings to drive strategic and executional progress and use the opportunities to incubate and validate new ideas.
Collaborate with partner development managers (PDMs) and partner marketing advisors (PMAs) and lead partner discussions and participate in partner executive briefings and business reviews.
- Act as liaison for Microsoft subsidiary's Partner Management Teams to identify and recruit partners or invest in new practice build-with, in partnership with the Tech team and Partner Success Team.
Perform scorecard and KPI analysis to draw trending, learning and insight.
Drive business performance and rhythm of the business by coordinating with finance & ops teams to track progress and connecting with Global Partner Solutions (GPS) regional/time zone leads and field leaders to surface business insights and share learning across the areas.
- Leverage monthly review cadence to drive management awareness on the business performance, execution best practices and help needed for the SAP on Azure and HPC partner business. Identify new growth opportunities.

Creativity, Conviction and Curiosity
10+ years in a customer and/or partner facing role, optimally dealing with a variety of audiences – Customers, Partners (ISV, SI, start-ups, MSPs), Sales.
5+ years working directly with partner ecosystem, the ability to provide valuable business and technical guidance to them and to secure their commitment to use business solutions.
- Product management/product marketing experience. Knowledge of cloud computing, SAP, HPC strongly preferred.
- C-level partner engagement experience
