The Azure business is a critical strategic monetization and growth lever for the company. This business consists of growing Azure consumption in both our customer base and acquiring new customers across both Microsoft and Open Source technologies.
The Azure Product Marketing Manager (PMM) Landing Lead is responsible for leading the field, corporate, and market enablement of our strategy across the Azure Digital Application Innovation and Infrastructure business. The PMM must develop strong partnerships across partners, services, sales, and public partnerships to lead and execute the priorities across the business.
US Marketing & Operations (USM&O) is the ‘Marketing and COO’ function for Microsoft United States (MSUS), also known as the US subsidiary. USM&O executes company strategy and priorities that enable us to achieve our business goals with a focus on B2B customer engagement by developing and executing on go-to-market programs (GTMs), Marketing Campaigns, and a Field Operating Model. Driving a common operating model across the US subsidiary ensures consistent, measurable execution and landing of priorities. Driving alignment with our internal corporate partners in organizations including Product Marketing, Marketing & Consumer Business (MCB), Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB), Engineering, and Field Leadership is also critical to our collective success, as is continuing to listen, learn and respond via rapid feedback loops. Responsibilities
The Azure PMM Landing Lead has overall responsibilities for enabling each Area teams’ success by:
  • Ensuring go-to-market plans are well understood by the field and that we execute the given strategy of each program or offering created
  • Provide guidance to the program and offering teams to customize for specific markets where needed
  • Measuring the impact and effectiveness of our programs and offers to help the team learn and correct
  • Working with the national sales and services teams to ensure proper enablement of each role to have the skills needed to execute
  • Developing public and private partnerships to ensure we reach every underserved community and individual with the opportunities that a career in technology can afford
  • Connect our customers and partners to the community events we are driving to assist in the fielding of skills that they need while providing opportunities to the community in whole
  • The PMM Manager is required to have an understanding across all of the solution areas and or motion, specifically at the 200 level, and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies within an end-to-end market ecosystem
Qualifications
Key Experiences, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • 5+ years related product and/or field marketing experience
  • Evangelist and subject matter expert for product
  • Deep customer focus and understanding
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • People mangement experience
  • Track record of strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) preferred, MSC/MBA a plus, relevant fields of study include Marketing, Business, Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
