Your Role and Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
  • Engage with the Development and Offering teams to facilitate the process of distilling requirements into Development tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Work with client project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables
  • Provide status reporting to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to track the progress of deliverables related to client contracts.
  • Engage with extended team on IBM and Regulatory documentation related to the Offerings.
  • Engage with extended team on Legal documentation related to the Offerings. In some activities this might involve running scans on the source code.
  • Engage with extended team on Compliance documentation related to the Offerings. This includes topics such as HIPAA and GDPR, as well as other potential topics.
  • Advise other professionals. Effectively utilize group dynamics. Negotiate to define approaches and goals.
  • Recognize complex problems related to functional objectives. Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes. Creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
  • Provide ongoing technical /operational guidance to support professional work teams, conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international). Understand department/ functional mission and vision. Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function.
  • Accountable for department results and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional teams. Regularly participates in overall functional program planning. Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses.
  • People Management responsibilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 9+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Mac operating system and ability to configure and run various scanning programs (open source, security).
  • 2+ years’ experience in an Agile development environment
  • 2+ years’ experience with Project Management tooling (IPWC, MS Project)
  • Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player as well as leadership skills
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills both – oral and written English
  • Ability to pick up new areas and work on a Consultant Profile as well
  • Ability to think ‘out of the box’ and work independently with little direction
  • Able to guide a team of lesser experienced professionals.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management in a healthcare setting.
  • PMP certification a plus
