Your Role and Responsibilities
Individuals in this role will act as the lead of the Service Management team and are accountable for providing integrated management across one or more Service Management processes for the full scope of the Kyndryl account.
Integrated management of the processes includes working across all service providers (across the Kyndryl business units and/or third parties) responsible for a portion of delivery. They bridge gaps between delivery teams to help drive rapid recovery during major incidents.
They lead process awareness and provide education to delivery teams as required. They facilitate continual service improvement of all Kyndryl processes for an account or set of accounts.
They work with service management teams and are integrated and aligned with the Global Processes. They work to ensure that local procedures and work instructions are developed and followed properly.
Job Duties:
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and others in a multidisciplinary team environment to define and maintain system availability
  • Perform regular maintenance to keep systems running at optimal performance
  • Monitor global project progress
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, manage risks, balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Mentor and lead by example for other members of the environment
  • Effectively use CIO tools to organize and manage FE team (Jira, Box, ServiceNow, etc)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • A minimum of 6 plus years of experience in DataCenter and Network Management
  • Demonstrated experience in Data Center/Network Service Center management
  • Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Strong understanding of web foundations and concepts
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of infrastructure (hosting or network) architecture, engineering.
  • Experience managing or working with enterprise level life cycle projects.
  • Strong organization and execution, able to lead planning and execution, able to articulate to stakeholders and manage risks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams
