Your Role and Responsibilities
Location for this role: Fredericton, Ottawa or Markham
Does your passion for continual improvement drive you for better code, better process, smarter approaches for automating repetitive tasks? Do you enjoy being an influence of change and adopting new technologies around Cloud computing or internet/network security? If so, this is an opportunity to work with highly driven Agile teams to deliver market leading Security Intelligence software.
  • You will work with product owners to implement new components, and new features in existing components in a Fedramp compliant environment
  • You will help your team find and resolve technical debt using agile development practices
  • You will help your team support and run your services in production in a DevOps-oriented fashion
  • You will be an early adopter of new product offerings and help innovate 'what's next'

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • English Fluent (verbal and written)
  • At least 8 years experience in applying knowledge of Software Development practices.
  • 3 years + working within Agile Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
  • 3 years + experience developing commercial software using Python and/or Java
  • 3 years experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems
  • 3 years experience with AWS and AWS GovCloud
  • Experience working within IT compliance frameworks

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Basic experience working with GIT
  • Basic scripting experience using an exhibited language such as Perl and/or Python (additional scripting language knowledge a plus)
  • Demonstrated understanding of networking protocols and principles
  • Experience developing commercial software using Javascript/Javascript Frameworks
  • Basic experience working with security log analysis, application log analysis, and general log management best practices
  • Experience developing in and supporting a FedRamp compliant environment

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
