Your Role and Responsibilities
As an SAP ABAP HR Workflow Consultant, you will develop, manage and support SAP backend / Front end related Workflows.
Responsible for development, maintenance and improvement of Workflow applications for various countries through Incident / Change Request Management
Implement Payroll for newer IBM Countries as per management decision.
Provide Consulting support to our client on various Workflow related matter
Responsible for the production support, maintenance, and configuration analysis of workflows on SAP HCM HR and Payroll/GB Payroll solutions
- Analyze issues, evaluate options, recommend workflow or procedural solutions, analyze SAP workflow configurations and test solutions
- Knowledge in Debugging workflow, workflow trouble shooting technique, ABAP HR , Inbound/Outbound interfaces Job Scheduling, BAPI,BADI,Performance Tuning.
Act as liaison between the business and various technical teams (ABAP HR, PI, BW, Portal and other downstream systems) to ensure quick resolution of incident
Responsible for establishing and adherence to the Standard, Processes and Procedures for the ITIL Best Practice Incident Management & Problem Management process in conjunction with other ESS Support teams
- Experience with SAP HR workflow modules and understanding of SAP business applications in various areas hands on experience in SAP HR Core Module – PA, OM and TM
- Should have Implementation/Support experience of SAP UK/GB Payroll with deep understanding of Schemas, PCR and Functions
- Should have knowledge/experience with the following tools: SAP Payroll (ECC 6.0), ESS and MSS, SAP HR ABAP, and file transmission methods to support interface feeds
Should have very good knowledge in ABAP HR
- Candidate must have strong problem solving skills, be self-directed, and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and functional customers
Experience with SAP HCM modules and understanding of SAP business applications in various areas hands on experience in SAP HR Core Module – PA, OM and Time Management
- Support experience on SAP HR Module – PA, OM, Time Management and ESS/MSS
- Understand integration with key HR modules such as Personnel Administration and OM, Time Management and ESS/MSS
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP HR Workflow Development and support for any countries.
- At least one Implementation experience and 2 years of Support experience.
- Hands on experience on Workflow related development
- Demonstrated communication skills in a customer/stakeholder facing environment.
Must be self-directed, resilient and creative.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge of Solution Manager for documentation purpose, or for raising SAP Incidents
Knowledge of any Service Management Tool like RTC / Jira / Service Now etc
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
