Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will assist customers migrating to IBM's AI Application SaaS and Suite offerings including Maximo, Tririga, Engineering Lifecycle Management, Weather, Aviation, Sterling Order Management on Cloud, and Supply Chain Intelligence Suite. You will be the initial point of contact for customers from signature through production go-live. You will help drive the project through enablement sessions (demos), eliminating project blockers, and facilitating successful cross-team collaboration. Your mission will be to provide our customers a world class experience as you lead them to first productive use.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A willingness to learn IBM's AI Applications products listed above and the onboarding process
  • A history of successful experience working with customers and understanding how to manage and facilitate implementations
  • An ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • An ability to successfully collaborate with CSMs, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, DevOps and Support to accelerate client implementation and to shape the future product
  • A proven track record of leading technical conversations and persuading others to take action
  • Experience successfully managing difficult customer situations and working toward a resolution
  • A willingness to take initiative and tackle things on your own
  • An ability to navigate data and people to find answers
This role may be located and operated remotely.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience with customer software implementations
  • Ability to demonstrate product capabilities and provide enablement
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Technical understanding and hands-on experience with IBM's AI Applications products
  • 5 years or more of experience in Professional Services, Customer Success and/or Technical Sales (e.g., technology or management consulting)
  • Experience working with Enterprise Software, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and/or Cloud
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and containerization
