Your Role and Responsibilities
Release Management for our public cloud complex and critical deployments and delivery plans Our public cloud continues to expand into new regions and expanding into banking and regulated workloads. We need strong release managers who can take responsibility for managing these large public cloud deployments and execution plans across a matrix managed organization. This involves working with the various tribes inside and beyond Harish Grama org, Success is ensuring the right commitments and expectations are made, and then delivering ontime to those commitments by identifying and resolving issues. A strong technical background is required to understand the intricacies of each deployment and manage issues. We need to understand and bring forward prioritization challenge. This role will understand the hardware and software changes that are required in each deployment, dependencies, and time required of each change, be able to build a project plan and manage the delivery. These deployments are multi-month, with multiple technical dependencies. Because of the importance of these deliverables, , executive communication is a must, including netting out critical issues and ensuring exec attention to resolution. We operate as a very small program management team, and this role needs to interact and collaborate within our small team to share information learned across teams, we are all interacting with the same tribes, and need to ensure that our asks to tribes are balanced and coordinated. The person in this role will also as required take on other program management beyond deployment that are critical to the Public Cloud success.
