Your Role and Responsibilities
This procurement specialty is to understand the business process from the procurement end user, be it the procurement team itself and/or the supplier. Defining the end to end business process (from cart creation to the supplier processing the order) using the various procurement tools and functions within tools delivering the most efficient process that is possible. The skill set would include : Implementing process automation solutions using automation tools, project management techniques to provide tasks and outline plans. Knowledge of the process being looked at and understanding the options available. Data gathering skills and analyzing to a point of conclusion are very important. Stakeholder management is a key skill.
The position is in the Transformation and Operations team supporting Global Technology Services (GTS):
The Source to Pay transformation and operations team is responsible for delivering best in class processes, technologies, data and analytics, learning and development, communication and change management and policies and practices that create efficiencies for the Source to Pay organization, speed to market for clients and delight our stakeholders with great user experiences. You will be working with all stakeholders both inside and outside of the Source to Pay organization.
Develop programmes to implement transformational change and best in class S2P processes, which will enable the organization to deliver improved outcomes, user experiences and speed of transacting for all source to pay stakeholders.
Prioritize, manage and monitor the S2P organizations process transformation working with other leaders for technology, data, policies, communication, learning and development.
Implement effective change management to deliver expected outcomes from transformation initiatives.
Create an environment and structures that encourage stakeholder feedback and ensures continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A minimum of 5- 7 years’ experience in source to pay / procurement
Experience of designing, owning and evaluating process transformations and delivering large scale global change that is in tune with business needs and thought leading.
Proven experience in providing strategic leadership and an understanding of leading practices in the market for source to pay processes.
Demonstrated change management experience for large projects or organizations.
Requires proficiency in analytical, presentation, interpersonal communication at all levels of the organization.
Ability to team well and work in a matrix environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong knowledge of global procurement practices
