Your Role and Responsibilities
#Mainframe DBDC Systems Programmer:
DBDC specialist is responsible for planning and performing installation and version upgrade of middleware products (DB2, CICS, MQ, IMS) on mainframe platform. In addition, he/she should understand the complexities of infrastructure design and maintenance, be able to analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- Installation and version upgrade of DB/DC systems (DB2, CICS, Websphere MQ, IMS) and related products from IBM or ISV (Omegamon, Db2 Tool admin,..)
- DB/DC systems maintenance, objects definition
- Architecture analysis and design
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Performing advanced troubleshooting
- Security issues analysis and defect prevention
- Root cause analysis
- Multi-environment knowledge of supported systems, maintaining operational documentation.
