Infrastructure Architect – Campus/WIFI

Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Network Engineer with experience having designed and configured campus network infrastructure, including background with IP Services, Firewalls, Security Services, Network Tooling and Automated scripting.
The role will involve:
  • setting direction for global standard campus network reference solution sets and strategy
  • managing Kyndryl's inventory of 5K+ devices and compliance to security and standards
  • driving CIO transformation and investments with Deploy teams for global consistency
  • driving innovation to evolve standard solutions and tooling with focus on Automation and Analytics
  • stay knowledgeable of emerging standards, platforms and technologies to enhance Kyndryl's portfolio
  • communicate with Business and Regional leaders to understand their needs and educate on strategy and solution sets
  • provide 4th level support for campus network issues manage vendor relations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Deep and broad knowledge of Campus Network hardware and SW products
  • Cisco and Juniper campus switch configuration skill
  • Demonstrated WIFI architecture and configuration experience
  • Cabling systems
  • Network architecture principles, practices, and problem determination methods, network operational skills and knowledge
  • Incident management skills
  • Demonstrated executive communication skills
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networks, i.e. Campus LAN/WLAN, MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, DC Architectures, Remote Access Services and network tooling.
  • Experience in technical leadership and setting directions for a distributed team of skilled professionals, which does not involve people management responsibilities.
  • Able to think and respond to IT incidents quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and exceed customer expectations for service.
  • Network certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, JNCIP-SP or similar

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Strong understanding and experience in troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Very strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to create and foster a collaborative work. In depth strong facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Programming skills
