Your Role and Responsibilities
The Global Labor Relations Leader is a management position responsible for establishing and leading Kyndryl's day-to-day labor relations strategy across multiple geographies. The Leader will also be responsible for providing labor relations advice and support for the US.
The Global Labor Relations Leader plays an integral role in advising on matters across a broad labor agenda. The Leader will work closely with their team in advising country & regional Human Resources leaders, working collaboratively across the HR function, and engaging with senior business leaders.
The Global Labor Relations Leader will manage a team of geographically dispersed labor relations professionals whose responsibilities include negotiation and consultation with labor unions/work councils, ensuring compliance with applicable labor regulations, managing employment-related risks, providing input into the development of HR policies, and ensuring the company adheres to applicable legal requirements as determined by national and local law.
NOTE: In some locations, the labor relations professionals carry additional responsibilities, including workforce management and handling of individual employee relations cases and grievances.
The Global Labor Relations Leader will be expected to display exceptional judgment with the ability to identify areas of labor risk and opportunity and communicate with influence. The Leader will work through extended teams using good instincts with a blend of practicality and judgment focused on risk management.
This role requires a leader with the capability to manage flexible working hours, champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and build rapport across cultural borders.
This role will require international travel (10%-25%).
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $140,000 - $216,000 is based on a full-time schedule.Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience.For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately."
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years of experience managing labor and employee relations issues within international markets (i.e., North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Middle East & Africa)
  • Experience with collective bargaining, negotiations, and consultations with labor unions/works councils
  • Knowledge of legal and government processes as they apply to labor and employment laws, rules, and regulations
  • Consultative and influencing skills to work closely with global business leaders.
  • Experience leading and managing a team

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
JD or advanced degree (e.g., Masters degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations
