Introduction
This is an opportunity to work with IBM security services team that is operating on the cutting-edge of information security.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage and continuously enhance the capabilities within Data Protection service portfolio.
  • Operate various Data Protection technology tools, based on specialization, but not limited to, Rights Management, DLP, Email Security, Cloud Data Security Gateways (CASB) and Data Classification and Discovery.
  • Make recommendations to improve maturity of existing tools and capabilities improve protection  Perform security assessments and vulnerability analysis as required to justify risk tolerances and acceptances.
  • Documentation of security infrastructure, implementation, operational manuals and developing configurations to meet new business requests.
  • Contribute to the Risk and Audit hygiene and governance for the function.  Analysis of various security logs on daily basis from Forcepoint DLP.
  • Consolidate reports for violations and action taken.
  • All support activities emanating from the Monitoring tools and ITSM.
  • Incorporating all future Fine-tuning/changes in policies etc.
  • Manage projects according to project plans with a keen eye to objective delivery, cost adherence and minimizing risk.
  • Maintain industry awareness of; DLP Product Landscape, emerging and rising threat landscape and the latest/newest protocols/techniques/evolution in DLP.
  • Create / Document complete Service Designs including, but not limited to, Technical Requirement Documents, Proof of Concept use cases, Technology Engineering Documents, Service Operations Guides, etc.
  • Perform Service Transition to requisite Service Operations organizations and Service Consumers.
  • Data Loss Prevention solution implementation and deployment.
  • Develop implementation plan for DLP solution implementation and co-ordinate activities with the business owners and the implementation team.
  • Work with group owners of different business functions to ensure the DLP solution is implemented across the scope while not negatively impacting the business.
  • Oversee policy/procedure development and modifications that govern the DLP environment.
  • Establish baselines leading to reduction of false -positive Events.
  • Contribute to overall DLP process improvements and documentation in specified timelines by actively participating in end to end activities of servers procured for DLP implementation.
  • Monitor development of documents related to DLP for audit purpose.
  • Propose expansions for DLP programs as per business requirements.
  • Ensuring that the work plan is being executed as per the schedule and ensure that the implementation program has not deviated from the roadmap.
  • Provide an overall update periodically to CTO, CIO, CISO and other stakeholders in the Information security team.
  • Understand customers setup and IT solutions deployed in clients environment.
  • Configuration of above-mentioned security solutions Diagnose and Resolve issues reported.
  • Handle Support related escalations effectively Escalate unresolved support issues to Next.
  • Level person / respective Vendor in timely manner. Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to the client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Should have hands-on experience on implementation & administration of DLP.
  • Should have extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Information Security such as Data Loss Prevention, endpoint security, email security, web security with experience of DLP (data loss prevention) deployment.
  • Responsible to uncover business risk associated with the loss of sensitive data and dynamically lowers that risk through policy-based remediation and enforcement of controls.
  • Good understanding of IT security and data leakage prevention controls.
  • Good understanding of general IT including network security architecture encryption and operating systems.
  • Should have excellent communication, co-ordination skills.
  • A good team player to work with individuals in the project and perform the required duties seamlessly.
  • Strong Understanding of data protection and privacy including good understanding of the information security domains and their inter-relations with data protection.
  • Strong domain expertise, implementation and/or integration skills in data classification, data discovery, information rights management, encryption, tokenization, data access governance and data masking technology solutions.
  • Lead solution design and architecture for data protection and privacy solutions.
  • Be up to date on industry trends around cyber risk and data protection and privacy practices.
  • Understanding of key industry and data security and privacy regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of GDPR Hands on experience in Thales eSecurity or Vormtric solution Dataguise experience is a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Tools:
  • McAfee DLP solution. Other DLP solutions experience such as Symantec, etc. are good to have.

Certification:
  • CISA, CISSP is not a must but is a good to have.
